Moviegoers wait in line outside the Crest Theater at 4825 East Douglas Avenue to see Elvis Presley’s Loving You, released in 1957. The theater opened in 1950 across the street from Lincoln Heights Village and was demolished in 1997 after being shuttered for nearly a decade.
