Lawrence Stadium, later Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, was built as a Works Progress Administration project in 1934 and was home to the National Baseball Congress World Series for decades. The baseball park was torn down in 2018, and Riverfront Stadium was built on the site in 2019 with modern amenities and seating for over 10,000 fans.

Keepers on Parade
Founded in 2014, Together Wichita unites local businesses to celebrate our community with “lasting gift” projects. The group organized the “Keepers on Parade” public art program showcasing Keeper of the Plains replicas transformed by local artists, including this one at the Pop-Up Urban Park at 120 East Douglas.
